Whatever Happened to the Missing Kids?

If you’ve been reading tabloids and hearing rumors after rumors of missing children in the Philippines, you may be aware of the fact that the media did nothing to make a big issue of it. And that just maybe, someone who doesn’t want bad press on our country during this time of rice crisis shut down the publicity about organ harvesting in the Philippines.

Whether the stories are true or not, we have been warned. Child safety has never been a priority of the government, presumably because it is first and foremost a parental responsibility. Short of locking my child in the house, using tools such as cameras all over, child id gadgets or a child locator for those with school-age kids might not be such a bad idea nowadays, particularly with news like these.

No matter what, once a person becomes a parent, his life has been dedicated to caring for another. If animals can feel this instinct, how much more humans? This instinct is more than just the urge of getting our genetic pool to the future, this is Love. Missing children no matter whose they are, matter to every parent.
