Why Breadwinners Should Think About What-If’s
As employees or self-employed individuals with families, we are prompted time and time again to face the what-ifs of life. What if something happens, how will my family live? Being a breadwinner to a family of three is hard enough, what more a family of say, twelve? I took reading investment protection and insurance policies more seriously when I decided that I wanted to be a mom. part of the responsible parenthood thing is to face the what-ifs on a daily basis.
I’ve counted on employer’s benefits in the past, because as a single girl, not much is at risk. Live life, live well, dance like no one’s watching and all those… but now that I’m a mom I suddenly became aware of all these programs available in the market that promise to help me protect my family when, for any reason at all, I cannot work for them anymore.
Thankfully, the best advice on life, health and disability insurance are easily accessible on the net. Some sites are devoted to giving us parents the information we need if ever the ‘what-if’ happens. Please visit Protect Your Income for more insurance advice.

This is something that I never thought about either until I became a mom. Now I’m frantically signing up for every type of insurance there is because of all the what-ifs.
