Being the Diva That You Were Meant to Be

I’ve explored the issue of vanity some time in the past, and now I’m exploring it again. Why? Because I have an issue with it. I have been talking to a friend about this and we both agree that most of the celebrities that people say are ‘aging gracefuly’ actually did avail of medical treatment at one point. Maybe they meant ‘aging gracefully, naturally’ huh?

Most people in my country view cosmetic surgery as a no-no simply because some would scoff and call it insecurity. However, I personally disagree with the insecurity thing and actually admire women who take the plunge and just go for what they think is best for them. That we don’t have the same skin or figure that we did when we were 18 is an issue, an important one. What we have now though is the wisdom gleaned over time to decide what is the best course to take with regards to our appearance and beauty.

Scouting for a reputable doctor or service is not easy, but some research will help. Also, testimonials from women who have tried it and benefited from it will help with the decision. In particular, I have always picked the dermatologists who also cared about the way they looked over those who did not.

I like women who look beautiful and young. But I like halthy women even more. The thing I don’t like about plastic surgery is that it can be so dangerous! And the outcome can be both positive and negative. But what scares me most of all is that you do experiments on your body.

    P. S. There are hundreds of other means to stay fit and look young, e. g. natural cosmetcis, less stress, etc.
