Fashionable and Functional Baby Carriers

I have heard of stories during ancient times about how the native people of the land used slings to carry their young when on the fields working. I remember seeing photos and marveling at the resourcefulness of these people. I was a fan of plastics and synthetic clothing for my baby’s needs until I found a site selling baby carriers made from organic materials. Not unlike the ones used by the native folks in the photos I viewed before.

My blog-less pals use my blog as a window to most baby products, and this is one of my best finds yet! These fabulous baby carriers look like traditional slings, but with a twist (pardon the pun). They are actually a hybrid of a sling and a more structured front baby carrier, which means that while they provide the comfort that can only be obtained by using natural materials, they also provide the functionality of modern carriers.

They can be used to carry babies and even toddlers piggy back style or like the traditional front baby pack. They can be used in 8 different positions that will make carrying the kids around during park-going days and family events very easy.

Did I mention pretty and fashionable for babies and moms alike? The carriers are available in psychedelic, tie-died and camouflage colors for the more artsy moms and babies; and in simple white and solid colors for the more traditional ones. The great thing about buying these carriers include the option of buying a matching bonnet for your carrier design choice. A tie-died bonnet on a baby carried by his mommy in a matching tie-died carrier will turn a few heads at least in baby parties and community affairs.

Functional stuff for babies are for them to have a great childhood, but fashionable and functional stuff are 100% for the moms’ peace of mind. What is it about people saying “what a cuddly baby!” that makes a mom lift her chin and preen like she never does when she’s the one being complimented?
