There are nice ways to show our children the world’s most beautiful landmarks without leaving the house and traveling. Although the second option is nicer, traveling the world is limited to those who have the resources and the time to do so.

The UK Gift Company offers nice miniatures of European buildings and infrastructures including the Buckingham Palace (the royal family’s spectacular abode), the Tower Bridge (we have a children’s nursery rhyme dedicated to this magnificent structure), Big Ben (one of London’s most famous landmarks; and is the name of the thirteen ton hour bell within the tower), St. Paul’s Cathedral, Urquhart castle, Houses of Parliament, and the Tower of London.

These amazingly detailed replicas are available in a section they call liliput lane. Appropriately named, and nostalgically reminiscent of the little people that lived in a small, tiny world in story books.

Each miniature cottage and building is handcrafted and handpainted to perfection. A collection comprising these items will be a great addition to the educational shelves of families with growing children.

They provide wonderful backdrops for various sessions of storytelling. Combined with the incredible imagination of kids, these miniatures make Beauty and the Beast or Hansel and Gretel seem more real.
